Though our founder Charles A. Lewis, Sr. retired in 1992, C. A. Lewis, Inc. is still very much a family business. And while times may have changed, our commitment hasn't. You'll see that in our final products and you'll experience it when you meet our people.

President

Tony Lewis began working with the firm in 1980 as an estimator and moved in to current role as president in 1992.  His responsibilities include strategic planning, marketing, financial planning, quality control, and risk management.

Charles Lewis, Jr.

Vice President

An employee since 1981, Charles Lewis, Jr. currently manages the overall commercial construction activities of C. A. Lewis. A workforce of approximately 50 craft persons currently operates under his management.

Danny Moore

Industrial Division Manager

Bringing 38 years of industrial construction experience, Danny Moore joined the C.A Lewis team in 1977 and currently oversees the industrial construction projects, with a special emphasis on pharmaceutical work.

Cheryl P. Brown

Director of Financial and Human Resources

A graduate from the Technical Institute in Durham, with 24 years of experience, Cheryl P. Brown is responsible for the firm's overall accounting functions, including: budgeting, payroll, payables, receivables, cost projections, and reporting.  Additionally, Cheryl manages the company's employee benefits and compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Chief Estimator

David Laney handles the company's pre-construction services, from planning and design, thru cost estimates and proposals.  David is a graduate of Pitt Community College with a degree  in Architectural Technology, is a LEED® Accredited Professional, and has been a member of the team at C.A. Lewis, Inc. since 1995.

Burney Fleming

Civil / Architectural Project Manager

Part of the C.A. Lewis family since 1981, Burney Fleming began his career at C.A Lewis, Inc. as a carpenter's helper, quickly moving thru the ranks as a foreman, superintendent, and project manager.  In his current role, Burney manages the civil and architectural portion of industrial construction projects.

Tim Jones

Mechanical Project Manager

With 38 years of experience in industrial construction, Tim Jones handles all aspects of mechanical work within the C.A. Lewis industrial division. Tim has held his Class 1 Plumbing license for 35 years.

Ross Woodall

Commercial Project Manager

Ross Woodall is a graduate of East Carolina University, with a degree in Construction Management.  His responsibilities include scheduling and coordinating the construction process for a variety of projects, with special emphasis on religious and healthcare projects.   He has completed the OSHA 30 hour training program.

Tom Daniel, CPC

Commercial Project Manager

Tom Daniel possesses a Master of Science in Construction Management from East Carolina University. He is a licensed NC Plumbing Contractor Class-1 and Certified Medical Gas Installer. Tom is also a 30-hour OSHA cardholder and is responsible for scheduling and coordinating the construction process for a wide variety of commercial and industrial construction projects.

Wes Banks

Safety Director

With 45 years of construction experienece, Wes Banks is a licensed NC General Contractor, NC Plumbing and Heating Contractor, and has been an OSHA 500 Construction Outreach trainer since 2007. Wes manages the safety program of C.A. Lewis, Inc. including employee training job site inspections, and subcontractor compliance.
